My DH used to read Seuss to the children and GC when he would put them to bed. Their favorite was "Hop on Pop". Your quilt will never go out of style and each year a new batch of students would most likely love to see it!

What a fun quilt! I have 15 yards of the different Seuss prints sitting on my shelf right now. I loved them the moment I saw them and preordered last year. You did a great job highlighting the prints and the off centered, wonky blocks are perfect for Dr. Seuss! :)

As a former elementary librarian, I would have loved to have had this quilt hanging in our library! More importantly, the students would have gotten a kick out of it, so my vote is to keep it to display it in your library so everyone can enjoy it

I think quiltlonger's idea is fabulous. It stays in the school for many many other kids to enjoy and it could actually encourage kids to read so they could win the contest. They would be so proud. Imagine 10 years down the road, the stories that quilt could tell. If you did something like that, maybe one of the teachers might document the history to go with it. What an awesome thing to then come visit now and then.

Thank you, everyone! I am having second thoughts about letting it go. The more I think about it, the better it sounds to keep it and display it every year.
