    That is a wonderful border to frame that medallion. I feel your frustration. Having a bit of my own with my current project!

    Miscutting and lost fabric are a fact of life. Your end result is beautiful - and that's the point , after all. Someone will be very glad that that you let it sit - had time to stew - and finished this stunning top! Your border is the perfect complement. We need to remember those that started this tradition. When they ran out - they made do. Today's quilting "industry" wouldn't be what it is without a little creativity!

    Thank you for all the good reviews. I am quite proud of how it came out. The corners of the border are my design. There wasn't one to go with it, but a different corner block that went with the quilt I saw the border on. It didn't work with the star. Thank you all again.
