Default my latest project finally pieced

started this in 2010 at a retreat. had the star portion done at the retreat. wanted a border. took time to find one, then with miscutting, lost fabric as I went. had to improvise. frustration set in at one point and I put it away. finally. finally pieced. hope the quilting goes better,,,lol!

It is hanging from the railing in the loft over a light, so that is why it isn't straight on. but it does lay flat. yea one down a cazillion more to go!!

Beautiful quilt. Love the border. I never want to take that much time with the border. Too anxious to get it finished.

Some quilts are like wine -- do some work, then let them age until they are ready to finish up. You did great letting this wait -- the border is a delight and adds so much.
