    It is lovely - I would go with a 'fussy cut' flower which fits in the square - maybe a white large flower with a mid blue background? Or a japanese one , like a chrysanthemum? I'm sure that this will involve hours of shopping, which is why I suggested it.

    Very pretty. My choice would be plain navy. I would try a square of all the colors suggested and then decide.

    I love your quilt. I love somebody's suggestion of using red but what about black? I can see either one set in there. I think it could carry a bold color for those cornerstones.
