The quilt is so gorgeous that no one is ever going to turn it over, LOL. I know it must be very upsetting to have a hole anywhere, but unless you made the hole, you should let the quilt shop know. Even if it is not their mistake, they will probably have a few suggestions.
I also would patch or mend it before you finish quilting as the quilting might make and mend disappear.

Guess where the hole is would make a perfect spot for the label!!! The quilt itself is stunning and the quilting is superb!
I had a small gather on the back of a quilt...didn't want to rip out micro-stipple, so that's where the label went...no one ever said a thing!!!

Its a great quilt!!! Nothing to be sorry about...put few tiny applique on the back so no one will ever notice (not even you)

Your quilt is beautiful. How disappointing about the hole you found in the backing fabric, but hopefully you can create another star or block to patch over it. It will add interest to the back of your quilt. Be sure to keep us posted on what you decide to do.
