    Default My latest quilt

This one is a Ricky Tims Grand Convergence. I made it for my young son. I used Quilter's Dream Puff, which is poly high loft. Okay, I didn't think a third of an inch was high loft, but what do I know??? It quilted beautifully, only problem I had was sandwiching it. It sticks to the fabric. I used a quilting pattern I found in a mag from a friend, supposedly Asian. I thought it looked like water.... As you can see, the quilting really shows up.
I also discovered the perfect place to photograph quilts. The front porch of my chicken coop!

Nice job on the convergence. I have the book but haven't attempted one yet. Your colors are lovely.

The quilting does look like water - your quilt has a very modern feel to it - love it.
