When people go shopping for fabric stashes, how much of each do you usually buy? One yard? Two yards? That is a great stash and I’m envious. I really don’t have a lot because I buy the fabrics for a project as I need it. It must really help your creativity to have them in front of you and think of ways to use them.

I envy you  for actually knowing how much fabric you will need and for which project.....There are no much "quilting quality fabric" where are live...so I buy usually "combinatory" fabric like a base ...something to work around for big quilts at least 4 yards...for smaller projects less...and then I pray that I will have enough fabric to work with....or find something near me......

Nice haul. Isn't it fun to go shopping. Wish you didn't have to pay extra for baggage or I'd bring more home too. Had to be very careful when we went on our Alaskan cruise, we were at weight limit for baggage before we left so couldn't buy much.

Thanks again.....If you don't see me much in chat its because I am still "washing, ironing or acomodating" things in place.....
For those of you that "envy me" please don't...remmber that there are no quilting around me.....only cacti...so once I get down from the mountain I must take advantage...sometimes I really miss great things and later cry a lot due to the frustration.....
    Hugs to all of you

I did pay for extra....total of 40$ but if I would bring more I would have to pay much more .... each airline has its own rules and the problem is that they are changing the rules....Last year when i bought bigger machine I had a problem to find a suitcase big enough (only the "right size" permitted by the airliner.....since they suddenly decided that "no boxes"..everything had to go in the suit case....
You mjust think fast act fast and pray.....(not to mention the "friendly"costom in here...lol...I am glad to announce they are getting more normal......happy quilting
