Wow! I'm so impressed that you are getting these done so quickly. Good for you. They are wonderful and you'll be done very quickly. Your design wall tells the story.

As far as doing your embroidery in a hoop or not, I don't use a hoop for this. I don't really know what it is that allows me to embroider without the hoop but I know that I don't pull the threads tight. That would cause puckers.

I have all 40 of the blocks done with the exception of doing the embroidery on the last 4 blocks. I need to pull out my embroidery floss, pigma pens and paint pens to finish up. I might use the inktense pencils, too. My plan is to get the 4 finished up this week. You'd think I could get caught up with my sewing/quilting but I'm so far behind I might never be caught up.

Keep those blocks coming! Maybe I should do something while we're on stay at home status.

Nanna, If you haven't done so, pressing may remove the puckers. Place your block face down onto a towel and then press. Do not scrub with the iron, just the up and down motion. Applique block always look better following a good press. And please, let us see your blocks.

    Default My LBB Block 13

Number 13 is a lucky number after all. I was looking forward to this block because it is so different from the first 12. It was pretty easy until I got to the point of adding those little, did I say little, I meant tiny flowers. The book called for 4 but after 3 I jumped ship. I think it came out okay even if it is a flower short.

    Default My LBB Block 14

Block 14 is on the board, which means I'm 1/3 of the way to the finish line.

Your 13 and 14 look fabulous. Yes, those tiny flowers were a bit tedious, weren't they? But 3 looks nice. Actually, an odd number is always more pleasing to the eye.

1/3 done! Yeah. You are amazing getting these done so quickly. I've started working on my HST strips for the sides of the blocks. I think I'll do one of the reverse applique blocks first. I'm so excited to finally start putting this together. Of course I'm not done with the borders yet. Will I ever get this quilt finished? I sure hope so.

NuN, you will most definitely get your quilt finished, the HSTs and borders are easy peasy compared to what all you have accomplished so far. You are my muse on this journey and I'm not sure I could go on without your example and encouragement.
