Awww....How Sweet!! My little dogs do the same. They just love to lay on my stuff when I'm trying to work on it.

I really like this quilt. I like the way that blue pops, and the black and white squares of different fabrics make it interesting. I'm thinking that I would like to make one - using different colors. That's when I also notice that the squares are not all the same size. Do you have a pattern?

    Thanks,
    Linda

I got the idea from a quilt someone on this forum did in black and white and hot pink. She got it from a quilting magazine. I just eyed it and took a stab at it on my own. It's real easy. There are two rectangles and two squares and a strip.

    The rectangles are 5" x 7"
    The squares are 5" x 5"
    The strip is 2" x 12"

    The blocks are 12" x 12"

That quilt is between lap sized and twin. I did 4 blocks across by 5 down. There are 20 black on white squares, 20 white on black, 20 black on white rectangles and 20 white on black. Then just put them together so they alternate.

I will be finishing the binding today and I will post a better picture and a closeup of the block.

I did one just like she's describing! Black & white fabrics with hot pink strips.... a "Project Runway" quilt for my daughter. Did you and I talk about this before KrazyQuilter? I can't remember! I got my idea/pattern from a recent quilt magazine. The only difference that I can tell is that my blocks are HUGE!! 19 1/2" unfinished!

    Here's the one I made:
