Jim'sGem already posted a picture of her, wheel2wheelsoman, and me at the show. It was so much fun to sit down and talk to them! I felt like we could have talked for 5 or 6 more days, at least!

Here are some pics of some stuff I got at the show. I'm not sure what order they'll post in, so I'll describe each.

One is a quilt from Bonnie Blue. I loved this when I saw it at the show! I couldn't afford to buy the kit, so I just bought the pattern, and someday I'll start collecting fabrics for it. All of her quilts are just awesome!

The scrappy star quilt is one that was on the cover of one of the magazines a while ago. when I saw it in person, I had to have it, so I did break down and buy the fabric for it. When I'll get around to it, I don't know!

The other picture is the new love of my life! No, I didn't trade DH in on a newer model--I finally broke down and bought a good sewing machine! It's a Babylock Espire, and they had a great special on them at the show. This thing does stuff I didn't even know sewing machines could do, and I'm having so much fun playing with it! I picked it up Monday, and my husband has hardly seen me since then! Maybe now I can FINALLY learn free-motion quilting!

Is this in Long Beach every year? If so, I'll have to arrange one of my visits to DD so I can attend. Sounds like fun.

Love the patterns and that sewing machine is just the cutest! Have fun with it and let us see what it can do.
