    That's neat! I had a friend who painted throw rugs on her front porch! They had a wonderful wrap around porch with two or three sitting areas set up around her "throw rugs." I've also seen it done on wood floors inside. Quilts on the floor would be perfect for a sewing room!!

    I want to do this to my patio. After all, I think it would not be too hard to "dye" cement. You dye as you mix it, pour and let it set. Nothing hard about that.

    My dear friend here in Florida just created a new quilting studio and she has different quilt blocks on her floor like this as well! It is really cool!!!

    I know of a quilt shop 60 miles from me, that did all the ceiling tiles in quilt squares. The building is old, and ceiling very high, so the blocks are not overwhelming. Guess what the name of the store is? The Quilted Ceiling. You can get dizzy just looking at all of them, but it is beautiful
