    Here's a close up on one of the blocks. I've searched the web but have not been able to identify the block, although I've sound several that are similar, just not the same. Thanks to everyone for their kind comments.

    That is just so pretty. What a trip. You have made your mamaw proud. Don't ever regret it. You did just fine. I have 4 or 5 to do just that. I have never FMC and I have a big machine.

    the quilt is magnificent--the fabrics are wonderful, and the love of two generations is worked into it, to boot! you've done a beautiful job--and a beautiful thing, completing it.

    This is beautiful! Both of my Grandmothers quilted, but they both had large families and they used all of the quilts. You will cherish this for many years because she made it and you finished it.

    A beautiful quilt. I'm so glad you finished it. It will be a constant reminder of someone you love and hold dear. Love the color paint on your walls also!

    I only use muslin for my quilt backing except for kids. It just seems to me to be what belongs on the back . LOL...
