    My goodness, what divine fabrics! I usually use a sharp 80 needle for piecing. It doesn't make as big of a hole as the 90.

    This little book has served me well over the years, maybe it will help you, too.
    It's available right now on Amazon, used, for $0.48! Resist the ridiculous spiral-bound one for $196.00. (WHAT is that all about??!!) You can take it to any large copy shop and they will remove the spine and spiral it for you.

    Love your block, your fabrics , and that pattern. Very lively! Definitely use starch. A little wrinkle here and there will add up to measurements being off. Congrats to your family!
