    Default My Midnight Garden

This hand-appliqued project was started about five years ago and I tried to complete one block a month. The Celtic block designs are from various sources and the folk-art floral blocks were found in two pattern books from Buggy Barn. The floral blocks all have striped and plaid homespun fabrics. The long-arm quilting was done by Red Red Bobbin of Mount Pleasant, Ontario, and I completed the binding and labeling in September of this year, just in time for it to be entered in the Norfolk County Fair where it won a First Prize ribbon (red in Canada). It's a very large quilt at 96" x 113".
