Thank you all for your compliments and comments. This was so much fun to do.
My sister has suggested to me that I hold off on doing the quilting until I get up to see her. She wants me to do it on her new long arm quilter. I am biting my nails because I have never used one before and I am only going to be with her for three days then we are going south to my son's house for my second grandsons Holy Communion. I am planning on giving this to them then.
So do you all think I should wait and do the quilting there or do it now while I am still here?? I know I can do a good job on my machine here but do not know how I will do on her long arm. She did say she would help me.

You have so much imagination and artistic talent. I love the whimsical design. As far as quilting on the longarm, it might be fun to try, but I would want to practice on something that didn't have so much work put into it first. Since the table runner can easily be done on the sewing machine, do it there and take something else to do on the longarm?

I am siding more and more with you on doing the quilting here. I am thinking it is not as if I just fell right into using the longarm and loved it so much that I wanted one. It would not fit in my suitcase to take back with me so what is the sense. I don't want to risk ruining the table runner when I know I could do it here.
Thanks Linda for the compliment and your input.
