If you do a google search on the Moda Bakeshop Giant Pincushion you will find the tutorial for making these. I can get one made in an evenig and it is nice for making a quick gift or just for pin cushion swaps and the like I made 2 more yesterday and I made one using 2 colors instead of 3. Now what I did was cut 3 colors of fabric in strips, one strip was 2" and one was 1 1/2" and one was 1 1/4" and sewed them up in a long strada. Pressed the seams one way and then cut the diamonds shapes at a 45 degree angle you need to cut 8 diamonds as wide as your strada set. Then when you have the 8 diamonds cut you put two together so that your lines sort of cross each other and then stiotch one edge of the diamond and then you pivot and stitch the other edge. Take it off the machine and press seam towards the dark color. Then you repeat with the rest of the diamond shapes and then you stitch the two halves of the pin cushion to gether leaving an opening about 1 1/2" for turning and then you stuff it and they didn't use a button in the tutorial, but I like the button there. I used upholstry thread I just threaded a needle and then put in in the pincushion in the middle and pulled it up and then put the button on and then put the needle down in the middle and then tied the ends of the thread in a square knot and clipped it and then I was done. Every one have a great day, Huggies, Fay
