I wish I had started quilting before my Mom passed. She was like your mom, she always said, "if it's made by the hands, it comes from the heart". Love you Mom. Your mom will cherish it always.

Thank you all for your kind words. Yes, my mom really loved it, and it made me so happy that she did. She is so independent and self-reliant that when we give her anything, we really expect to get it back, and my sister and brothers do usually get it back, but like I said, she likes what I make and give to her. Maybe that's the difference. I've always been "crafty", but the others aren't, and buy things for her. So I thought it would be a good idea to put all of our names on the quilt since it was for Mother's Day. Everybody liked the idea too.

Beautiful quilt, and I know your mother must have been so delighted to get it. My mother has been gone for almost 23 yrs. now and I wasn't into quilting much before she passed away, too busy working, I would love to be able to do something like that for her if she were still here. I did get to make a log cabin quilt for my Dad a few years after mother passed away. She always crocheted and we all have many things she made. I have since tried to make many family members quilts in the past few years. Since I am one of two children, that doesn't make for a very large family , brother has 3 children and I have two, but I still want to get all a quilt if possible. I absolutely love your label, and I am sure your mom did as well. Thanks for sharing
