I bought one from the same company a couple of years ago and they are wonderful and hold up to being carried to classes and retreats. The couple who make them are so sweet, aren't they. When I had a question about carrying it to retreats in the hot Texas summer I called to ask about how they stand up to the heat (I was worried about warping if I left it in my vehicle for any length of time) I got the husband on the phone immediately to answer my questions, so the customer service remains good even after buying the product. I recommend them to anyone thinking about buying them. Yes, they will adjust to any machine so will work for the long run for someone who knows they want to upgrade to a fancy machine in the future. And they are designed so that any of the legs will adjust by 1/8 inch so they are wonderful on uneven surfaces such as the antique table in my dining room. Their website is http://sewingmates.com/

Oops, donac, in my enthusiasm to add my endorsement to yours about the sewingmate I didn't realize that you had added the website to a later post. Didn't mean to step on any toes :)

I am just so glad to hear about how great the product is. I can't wait to use it this weekend. Dh is going on a camping trip so will be gone Friday to Sunday. I am hoping to sew all weekend.
