    Try alternating the direction of the braids, with and without the setting strips. <wave>

    I see at least 18 strips in the picture. You had at least 13 in the first picture, I think, and you said you had one more than 1/2 the strips then. If my memory and math is close to being right, you have only about 4 or 5 more to go.....you are in the home stretch...you can win by a strip....er....mile!

    This is a simple template I found but it is easy to do with 2 inch by 4.5 inch peices.

    Please don't stop, this is what quilts were originally made to be. Scrappy but functional. Love it and thanks for sharing your hard work with us.
