    Thank you all for your kind comments. After several weeks of trying one thing after another, I finally hit on the one that worked. I applied Tide to Go spot remover along each line, then sprayed a lot of Shout over it. I let it sit for 15 to 20 minutes and put it in the washer. Much to my surprise and delight almost all of the blue came out.

    I too agree that it is a beautiful quilt and if you can't see the blue lines while riding by on a horse, well it must be OK.

    Try using hairspray and then wash it. I can work for regular ink.
