    Well done!! I'd buy that pattern. I too get a "south-west" feeling for the quilt. I think it's the combination of orange and turquoise.

    Thank you so much, everyone! My DH is doing great, back home and feeling better.

    The contest is sponsored by one of the big quilting magazines - Quilting Board rules on advertising don't allow me to say which one.

    I do hope to publish this as a pattern after the contest ends, which will be in late October. Since I'm in the Amateur division I have to maintain that status throughout the contest. There are two more challenges to get through and I won't know the next theme unless and until I get through this round.

    That little beauty gets my vote! It's gorgeous! My condolences on losing your dad & here's hoping your DH is back up to speed. Quilting certainly can be sanity-saving, can't it?
