Great machine! Just a hint--I had quite a bit of difficulty getting the needle threading mechanism to work just right on my Juki TL98Q. Be sure you have the needle in its highest position--follow the threading diagram for the threader exactly and don't give up on it!

hi, just found your post. I just got my TL2010Q Juki and I am setting it up.
I am wondering which presser foot are you using for piecing? do you use seam guide or did you buy 1/4inch presser foot separately? I was surprised that it was not included with the machine
my machine came with presser foot but it is not 1/4 inch, there is also 'Compensating presser foot' and it looks like it might be 1/4 inch but have not tried yet.

I got my Juki TL2010Q this past Sept. It is a great machine! I bought a Janome 1/4 inch presser foot for piecing. But, I believe the compensating foot is a 1/4 inch...I had read that on another blog after I bought the Janome 1/4 inch foot.
