    Good find! And the feed dogs drop so you can FMQ your quilt for your brother if you want to on the same machine.Old Singers are great!

    I bought mine early last Winter and love piecing and FMQ on it. AnnieRose is a great little worker. Congratulations on your purchase. I like your attachments - AnnieRose came very lonely - just the machine and a new foot control, but she was packed wonderfully.

    I have a 1951 301a, and I just love her!! I had similar situation with mine..came without a case, not wrapped very well, no attachments, had to buy power & foot cords, etc. etc. But now she is my favorite!! You'll get very attached to this little machine....they are just dreamboats!! :-)
