I want to thank everyone for all the great words and hope you all who have old machines give it a try if I can do it anyone can.`About 25 years ago I bought a highchair just like the one I used to have when I was young, It folded in half to make a table and chair. anyway I refinished it and still have it hoping someday one of my grand kids would love to have it. AT any rate refinishing is a labor of love just as our quilts are. Thank you everyons.

What a wonderful job you've done on the table.

Since you did such a good job on the table I would imagine that you could also work on the sewing head. The tutorials walk you through it step by step and have pictures. Billy has done such a terrific job for us.

Also, be sure to check your local and surrounding area craigslist ads. You may be able to find the drawers that you need off of another table.
