    I've been looking for this machine for a while. It's the one my mom had when I was growing up and the one I learned to sew on. I wanted one for sentimental reasons but not only does she work, she has a fabulous cabinet as well! She's in the shop getting a chemical bath and tune up as we speak. And at $40, what a deal!!

    Sure do. I learned how to sew in 7th grade, my mom tried to teach me but we just ended up getting mad at each other. Once I knew the basics I was able to use my mom's machine - I sewed clothes, prom dresses, made alterations, did free motion embroidery on it, had a button hole attachment that took a rocket scientist's mentality to use but by golly I made button holes too! Hopefully the motor is still strong, I definitely plan on using this machine.

    oh my goodness= yesterday i was at goodwill and they had a very similar machine but a different cabinet. it was marked 19.99 and i was so tempted, but another machine and you.ll be seeing me on hoarders and divorce court lol (no, really!)

    That is like the one I had until my house fire in 2006...It will sew over anything! You will love it!
