Default My new pin cushion - Decorated cake

Just completed this for a pin cushion challenge for my quilt guild. A pattern that was posted with a link on here over a year ago or so.

Just beautiful. I would have to start collecting beautiful antique pins for it.

Looks good enough to have for dessert.

From what the weatherman says, it's going to be cold up in your neck of the plains. I hope you have plenty of projects lined up to keep you inside safe and warm.

It was -6 when I got up this morning with a wind chill of -24 and expecting it to get lower today.
As to projects I have more than enough to get through a 52 week blizzard as long as we have electricity. Lol...
On top of that I am for the time being no longer working since this past Friday. So a lot more time on my hands, I just hope I will get a lot of quilting/sewing done before I go back to work elsewhere.

Beautiful. What a creative way to use up some trims. Here's hoping you win the challenge (assuming it's a competition) and that you get a fab prize!
