    Default My new purse

I have been wanting to make a new purse for a while now, AND I have been dying to try the "texture magic" product. Add to that, I have been cleaning up my sewing "stuff" and part of that was to go through all my scraps and sort them by size and color. Soooooo, as I was sorting, I pulled out all the scraps of "packed flowers" sort of. I then cut them up and started sewing them all together. The Texture Magic told me how big the fabric had to be to be the size I needed for the pattern. (which came from a magazine I received from a board member in a swap, called "Scrap Therapy, Quilt your Stash"!! I used up 5 bobbins on this one!! DH thought I was nuts when he saw me shrinking that piece of fabric I had spent days cutting out and sewing together!! Now, he points it out to everyone, "she made that fabric'. LOL Anyway, someone asked me to share pictures, so here they are. Thanks for looking.

    Second: The finished purse
    Third: Inside of the purse

Congrats on a lovely bag! Neat that you were able to use the texture stuff, clean up some scrappy fabrics from your space, and make a fun project.

Very pretty. I, also, love texture magic. On my Texas two step quilt, I used on my trees. Turned out really good.

You accomplished two things at once - used up a bunch of scraps and tried a new technique - just doesn't get much better! Nice bag.

I love your bag, but I don't know anything about texture magic.
