There's some pics of the inside on page 4 of this thread. Since this was first posted two years ago I've stacked my fabric instead of having it on it's side. It's much easier to pull out a stack to look through when stash diving. And of course the room is not nearly as neat and tidy as it was two years ago!

What a nice area to be in and sew. Love your idea of covering the fronts of the cabinets. I have open books cases and I probably should have my honey make me doors for them and would love to adapt your idea for sure.....enjoy your new room.

First I must say what a BEAUTIFUL room.
Second I must ask, Do you get much vibration on the Ikea desks/tables when you sew. I almost bought the counter tops and legs but worried about the stability of the style legs you have on your space.
Also, Did you fasten your two cutting tables together or are they just sitting next to each other? I have been busy "designing" a cutting table storage thing in my mind but when I put it on paper it was a behemoth that would not fit through any door and would likely be too tall. ha ha
I have a 10 x12 room but have to share with my husband. I love him but all his computer stuff and mine plus my many hobbies make a crowded space for sure.

I do get some vibration when using the serger and the embroidery machine. Regular sewing is no problem. When I use the serger or the embroidery machine, I can't sew at top speed but those are the machines I use the least.

The two cutting tables aren't fastened together but it wouldn't be difficult to do if you wanted to. I have carpet on the floor so they don't move around at all.
