I used the cardboard as a template and cut my fabric pieces the same size as the card. I then laid each piece of fabric (make sure it's pressed and free of wrinkles) in the door and put the cardboard on top. Use the little plastic thingys provided to hold the cardboard in place in the door. No gluing or stapling required and the fabric will still be usable in the future if I decide to change to something else.

What a great sewing room. Ikea is great. I wish my room was as neat and organized.

I was thinking how much fun it would be to be able to change the fabric panels with the season, or holidays, or whatever! You can have an entirely new look anytime you like! It is so awesome!

I am in the midst of trying to find storage for my sewing/craft room. My room isn't as large as yours, but I sure like the wall unit.
If you don't mind sharing, what is the name of the unit....I couldn't find it on line and I don't live near a store.
You have done a great job and I love your room!

The wall unit is Besta. They come in a variety of sizes so you can choose something smaller if need be. My doors are Besta Tombo. If you go the IKEA website and search Besta and Besta Tombo you will find pages of various sized units and the doors I have. There are a lot of other door choices as well besides Tombo.
