Let's try this over again! Trying to type in the dark does nothing for my spelling!!!!! Congatulations on your beautiful new sewing room. I love the quilt on your cutting table. Would you be willing to share the pattern? Thanks.

The one spread on the table is Grandmothers flower garden and is the #1 pattern for English Paper piecing...this is one to carry around. :D

Jaynie, I just have to add my two bits worth, too. I've seen a lot of very nice quilting "studios" on this board but yours tops them all. You should write a book! It looks so well organized and convenient (maybe I will organize my stash TODAY!)

:) Such great ideas, you didn't leave nothing out. I love your design wall, the pegboard wall with the way you have all of your rulers, etc. All the nice tables, sitting room, tv display, computer station. I love it. Good job and I am so happy for you. I love it, love it, love it.

    Jaynie,

Wow!! I guess I won't send photos of my areas now. Mine is just my daughter's former bedroom but it does have it's own half bath. My major cutting and ironing area are set up in a room in the basement. I get my exercise running up and down the steps when I have larger things to cut or press.

What a wonderful set up you have.

Oh my WORD Jaynie. You have the most wonderful setup I've ever seen. Yeah, Where's the picture of your Gammill? Photos of your studio should be in a magazine. And to think, I'm getting sick about spending money on a Koala Cabinet.

Ladies & Gents, thank you all for your kind words about my studio. It has been a dream come true, but it took a while. My husband built our home where my studio is located. It took him about five years total, while he worked full time. The studio was the last room to be completed. We have been in the house for about a year now and it is truly wonderful and my hubby will retire this year, so we are both excited. The quilting machine is located in another room: (see photos here) http://www.quiltingboard.com/posts/list/12735.page
I just got the quilt machine in October and with Thanksgiving & Christmas right after, I am just now having time to use the new machine and I love it.
