    it can be tricky..i would use the smaller rotary cutter if your not sure. I did cut about a 1/2" inch into one of the other blocks! dang it. i used a 45mm.
    if you are really bad with the cutter, you could always outline the ruler with a pen i suppose. the marks won't show..when they are sewn, because it will be your cutting line. and then use scissors. i did think about doing that!

    but, do you believe it, i have no solid Christmas green or red fabrics! i want a solid border for the first one..

    i may have to make a trip to JA's!

    i have some red seed beads, i wish i could hand sew some one..that would really sparkle!

    Another thing I thought of, was how about inking some designs around it, when it's all done. Like with those super fine Sharpie type pens for cardmaking & such. Still playing with ideas for mine, once I finish sewing the final rows altogether, which is where I am at now. You could also use some of the decorative stitches on your machine too. As for a bow, I have to go digging & see what I have, maybe some xmas type ribbon or something, which can easily be replaced if it gets messed up while being stored during the rest of the year, right!

    What size are the strips used for the outer borders? I like how the ones were done in the pics, so am just curious? This project is sooo... much fun!

    No matter how I try, I just cannot wrap my mind around this. LOL. I look and look at it, and my brain just goes, "ARGHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!".
