I love red, white & blue quilts! I have a friend who inherited a Civil War flag with a bullet hole in it--it was carried by a family member, and she has all the documentation and everything. When she bought a house we decided to plan her decorating around this flag, which hangs over the fireplace. That meant lots of red, white, & blue! And lots of quilts for me to make for her!

    OOOOBeautiful quilt!

I too love R-W&B I have some embroidery designs that are vintage americana too that I have been wantig to stitch for a long time and I can nto wait to intergrate some of the fabrics with some of the designs. They have just been sitting there forver! LOL Now I have something to use them with. I already had some fabrics but not enough different ones to do what I am wanting to do.

I used Yellow Brick Road pattern for that one. Actually made a few of them for friends. I should have taken a pic of the back of it. One has Marine Corp seal on it, one has Army and the other Navy. I embroidered names on all of them, but don't know why this one didn't show a name. Might be because it was just the top at the time and didn't get it done as of that time. <shrug>

We seen some of those the other day, if they are the same ones we seen, they are very pretty! And naturally I love embroidery! I am addicted to it, I guess thats why 3 of my machies do it! LOL

Thanks. I usually embroider the persons name on the front and then "sign" the back of it.
