    Had to put quilting aside for a few weeks as a new grandchild took over my heart strings! In keeping with tradition, each grandchild has a birth sampler in their room. The main part was finished a while ago, I was just waiting for the date of birth. Now that the sampler is complete, it will be framed and then sent to Willow for her room.

    that is so cute, and a lot of work! I know, I did one for two grands, and dated them like you did. I think they are a sweet memory they can have for a long time.

    I made all 6 of my Grands a birth announcement, giraffes and bears, used the same cross stitch pattern for all of them. I don't think two of them have theirs anymore, their Mom took them with her when she broke the marriage and left the kids with Dad.
