My SIL asked me to make her some placemats featuring strawberries. I forgot to take pictures, so my husband took some with his iphone. I made four and each was a bit different. I had scraps so I made the coasters to match.

The second picture is placemats I just finished for my niece. She is getting married in a week, and loves homemade things, so I did these. My daughter posted pictures of a quilt and potholder she made for her cousin here a day or so ago. I sure hope my niece does not peek.

You just gave me a great idea. I am helping make some donated items for a silent auction, and placemats would work well. Love the strawberries.

Your placemats are beautiful. I used up a lot of scraps this winter and made four sets for us and one set for MIL. It was a quick project, wish I would have thought of the rick rack.
