My Newfie Dog quilt is done!
It was supposed to be a Christmas present but I wasn’t able to finish it before Christmas so it is now a birthday present! Fortunately my friend has a winter birthday because the background is technically Christmas Fabric. The dog pattern came from adapting the Fang pattern that is part of the Harry Potter free quilt along found here https://www.kellifanninquilts.com/20...uilt-fang.html. Someday I want to make the whole HP quilt! This quilt was quite the learning experience because I ended up resizing a basic Swoon block to 18 inches.

Whoa! Back up this train. Harry Potter quilt? I clicked on the link and it gives me the pattern for Fang but where do I find the rest of the designs? My daughter-in-law wants a Harry Potter theme for the grands' room and that would be perfect to surprise her with a quilt.
