The funny thing is that I was literally MINUTES away from sawing into one of these table to do the same thing this past weekend when I saw this post from Fab-ra-holic over in the main forum, with a picture of pretty much this same set up! I shamelessly copied her and I think it's going to work out really well.

That's why I love this forum...it's not just the support from fellow quilt/fabric addicts, it's all the GENIUS ideas!!

I LOVE those rails. Not only are they functional but to me, that row of scissors is like art. I like just LOOKING at them, LOL.

I got these from Ikea but I betcha a nice solid towel rack and some "S" hooks from the hardware store would do just as well.

Your room is so organized and neat. Love the tool rack. I may have to check out IKEA soon. My sewing room is small too. 10' x 12' and I have a Juki on a frame in it...ha. Needless to say almost every square inch is taking up by something. I need to sit & study on how to make it more organized....hmmmmm.

You've inspired me. I'm in the midst of moving my ARTIST'S STUDIO (I decided I'm an artist) upstairs to my office. Since I got my laptop I can have an office any place so it makes more sense to share office space with my studio. I had Dish come and connect the TV today. I'm moving some of my stash and supplies today and will get help with moving heavier stuff when the troops come home this evening. Your space is lovely!

Great job at reoganizing. I am sure you will find it a lot of fun in your new digs! I love that you have a permanent place for your quilt inspector!

I finally got a new, bigger sewing room and have it organized to my satisfaction. It is perfect for me.

Your sewing room is very nice.

Looks like your quilt inspector has found his/her place in the sun! Nice job of reorganization. Looks wonderful.
