I made the pdf. I printed it out and compared it with my orginal and it matches, so let see some Pickled ladies. Post them in here. The collar is paperpieced or use the freezer paper method and just follow what I did, if you need to. On the clamshell, the graph you see around the top is the 1/4 ins seam allowance. All seam allowances included on both pieces.

How sweet and generous of you to do all that work and post it for us for free! I'd love to try this, but I've never done any paper piecing and it looks beyond my pitiful skill level! Hope you keep posting your progress on this quilt!

Rosy you are a gem! Or should I say as sweet as a Rose, lol. Thank you thank you for your generosity. I have been wanting to make one of these. I just can't see spending $30 for a pattern and like you I am not interested in printing on my fabric especially because I use a lot of dark fabrics and can't imagine how my printer would show lines on it!

Rosie you are awesome - thank you for posting the pattern for us. Definitely will be on my to-do list. Now I just need instructions on how to sew these beauties together :-)

There are a couple of ways to put these little ladies together. I had made a pillow years ago and was looking at it. It is all sewed on the machine but it is lined, so I can't see what I did and I don't remember lol. I will remember, have no fear. It seems that everyone is hand sewing them, I searched the web and can't find a single machine pieced, except one, when you sew end to end but that makes them go in another direction. If anyone remembers, please post here. In the meantime, I will think about it.
