LOl Kathy, leave it to me to find unique things. The "H" quilt, named the Hendrix Charm, was designed by Doreen Hendrix and she had it entered in the QMN show.

I saw it in a magazine and put it in my scrapbook. I got a note from Doreen and she was so generous to send me her work diagram of the H Quilt and didn't mind if I made here for you guys to see. I know you will like it as much as I do, as it's different. Here is a pic of it.

I am working on my H quilt but will be making some more of the pickles as well here and there, so keep sewing and posting your pickles in here, I am dying to see how well the pattern works for you.

Hi Rosey, Here is my first attempt at the clamshell. My arc is a touch short on the left side but I think it is only a matter of pressing the arc a little more diligently. What fun. On to the next one. I chose the chicken fabric as a starter cause I only have a little of it and I thought the arcs mimic the tail feathers of the chicken. It will be a wallhanging when finished.

Ube, it's marvelous girl. The reason it is short on the left is because the point of the collar needed to be moved over. When you pin the collar on, make sure to mark the 1/4 ins. allowance on both the clam and the collar and stick a pin through it. The points of the collar should stick out a 1/4 ins. from the clam.

Ube, the Spring Chicken is lovely. That fabric is so unusual yet so appropriate for this block. Very well done.
