    Default My Nursing Home quilt

This is the quilt I have decided I want to have at the nursing home when/if I ever end up there. I have no plans to use it anytime soon. The quilt was made in a class led by Joan Ford who wrote the book Cut The Scraps. The pattern is Runaway Threads. The only fabric I had to buy was the white muslin. Everything else was from my scrap bag or my stash (the border). The small spools were machine embroidered after the quilting was done. Quilted on my Brother 4000. It isn't perfect but it is mine and I like it.

It's a beautiful quilt. Will be a nice one to have as a reminder of all the quilts you've made. Love the spools. That was a great idea to add the embroidered ones after quilting.

I love the quilt, and by the way how big is the quilt. I am making one for my sister and don't know for sure what size to make it. She doesn't know I am making it so can't get the size of the bed.

What a cute quilt! Hopefully you will never need the nursing home, but if you do, this quilt will be a great reminder of your love of quilting.

Great quilt but I hope it is many years before you use it!

I like the idea-to be prepared for any eventualities. And your quilt is lovely!
