    Congratulations of a job well done, I think you accomplished the challenge and then some. You did a great job of blending both blocks together.

    I have a fondness to the 30's as well and am getting ready to cut my feed sacks to make gift quilts for special people.

    What an amazing journey the bits have gone through to get to your beautiful quilt. I hope you write the story and attach it to the back - who knows where this quilt will be 50 years in the future !!!

    I think you did a great job with the flower petals, leaves and embroidered blocks - it's a stunning quilt, pretty and delicate.

    You did a great job with your challenge, I love how you tied it all together with your applique in the borders. Now how are you going to quilt it? Hope you post pictures when finished.
