Stunning!!! Your fabric and resulting blocks are just beautiful. Can you learn this from tutorials? Have never done this technique....have done a few SnW's.....Just don't want to buy another book....

If you have done SnW don't need a new book, it is almost the same.
The best tips about OBW are:
fabric with big motives and colors you like (3 or 4 colors max.)
set the layers of fabric carefully.
strips of 3.3/4"
the seams press open always.
and let your imagination fly!!! (with a design wall it is a lot easier)

At first I did not really like the OBW, yours is lovely, but then I watched the videos suggested here and I might try one. I bought her books, read first one....was a bit confused and thought...too much work, but the video was good and clarified the process....so now to find a mixed up enough fabric...and dig up those books!
