    Looks great. I agree with the others, a plain border surrounding the owl, then you can go nuts with scrappy.

    Its going to be so cute! I have the book this pattern is in. I haven't made any yet, but I think I love them all!! I can't wait to see your finished owl!!

    I think a scrappy border would be too busy. I'd go with one solid color. It is a really cute idea!! :thumbup: :D

    Yeah I saw the book somewhere online and decided to make the pattern myself. I know cheating, but it was fairly simple. Hopefully it turns out just as pretty.

    So I got it all together and decided on this border.. I'm adding more brown to the outside (need to get more fabric) and binding it with that really pretty teal color. Thanks for all the suggestions!
