That is a lot of hours of embroidery! I know how long it takes just to do a label! Your quilt is awesome and truly a keeper for yourself.

I have enough squares left to make a runner for my dresser. Not selling this one.

Is there anyone else that makes this type of quilt - I would like to hear what designs you use.
I also have most of those designs, from Embroidery library? last year was the $1 sale-- I did stitch out a couple but the embroidery is so dense, ended up frameing them as thought it would be too stiff a quilt? but it is certainly awsome in a quilt. have you don't anything else with embroidery?

I have made one so far but have a box of embroidries to make more. My first one was done with teddies from Bunnycups. I'm doing dragons from The Quiltery to make quilts for 2 GS for Chritmas. Each dragon takes about 2 hours or more but so worth it.
I've also embroidered things to make totes for shopping. These were from Emb Lib. My trouble is too many ideas not enough sewing and too much time on this site.

I do towels, pot holders and lap quilts. Want to try and do some on shirts - haven't tried that yet.

Yes they are stiff - that's why I don't quilt other than around the block. It does make the block fluffy then.

I did one for my grandson that had deer designs. It took over an hour for each one to stitch out. I told him to take care of it because he would not get another one.

I just purchased a new embroidery machine but am not ready to try something that advanced. Beautiful job.
