    I was asked to show a bigger picture of my Avatar, I just figured out how to do that.
    This is one of the first paperpieced projects I did. (I had seen one a friend of mine was doing similar (hers was aqua's and rust) and fell in love with it.) I changed the colors from hers a touch and she taught me how to paperpiece the begining of 2008. Yes, she told me many times that normally a person doesn't start with a project like this but I just had to make it.
    I absolutely love paperpiecing! am working on a Nevada Star quilt now but since have gotten my LA it has been slow going.
    It is a Karen Stone Pattern and is called USL2. I also have another friend that liked mine and made one and hers she did in browns and greens, very pretty too.

    My mother and I both did, but she did do most of it.
