Billy says deep candy paint job and my mind goes to candy apple red metal flake with hand rubber lacquer...........but surely not on a sewing machine. My head must have jumped to the classic car forum for a second.

I have seen Featherweights painted candy apple red on several occasions when I attended quilt shows. They are absolutely gorgeous and I think you will be "tickled pink" (or, in this case, "tickled red") And yes---they are as stunning as a classic car!!

Hey Bebe I tried calling you this afternoon and I think I had the wrong number. Email your number again I have some prices for you.

Sorry it has taken so long but I am trying to clean my plate off a bit before taking on anymore more projects. I have a guy bringing a 41 Willys Coupe to me for some body work only but he doesnt want it until the spring so I will have a break till Christmas.

And it will be nice to work on a sewing machine for once!!

What do you charge to paint a featherweight. I have two in pristine condition that I want to leave as is. Just got another one that with some cleaning will probably look nice, but would just LOVE to have one in blue or red and this one may be a candidate for that.

Red will make her SHINE!! But my memories of a "sister" of Betty that I learned to sew on 55 years ago when I was a little girl. Mother made all my clothes and more for an exclusive Childrens Shop in my home town in Texas. 12 years later, when I had a little girl, my mom gave me the old Singer Featherweight to sew for my baby girl. I so wish I had her now. .. Maybe she is BETTY!!!
