    Bet you wish you had done a bigger one. Great job. Want to do one, but a little afraid to tackle yet.

    Thanks everyone! I'm working on the backing right now and look forward to quilting it. I'll use SID because that seems to be what most board members recommend. Any other suggestions are welcome!

    Yes, I wish I had made it bigger, but I'm out of fabric since I choose smaller cuts. I've got another bargello planned and it's twice as big as this one!

    Making the bargello has been a satisfying experience. I like the illusion of wavy lines while sewing a straight stitch.

    You've done a wonderful job! So brave of you to tackle this as you're 4th quilt. :thumbup:

    You mention the problems with lining up the seams---didn't I read on this board somewhere that a bargello can be done with the seams moved half way up on the block next to them so that no matching is necessary? Or am I in fantasy land again? :roll:
