    These are my Thanksgiving practice pieces. I am making several things for Christmas and wanted to practice on some placemats for me! As you can see I am a beginner! Thanks to all of you that post tutorials.

    I used Roolen's instructions for the scappy leaf. I loved her work. Although I messed up on the direction of some of the leaves, Ha Ha. She has wonderful information at Roolen.blogspot.com. Use the translation button.

    Someone else listed a scrappy turkey and I used that as an example. Mine is not exactly as that one.

    For a beginner they look great! Practice is the name of the game. I am still learning stuff from each quilt, placemat or wall hanging I make. Enjoy the journey!!!
