    Wouldnt the same quilt look GORGEOUS done in browns and whites and if the brown fabric looked like wood? I so want to make one in brown.

    U did a wonderful job!! Looks great. U know purple is royalty? That's y they drape it on the cross. How much fabric do u need for cross fabric??

    Too funny Patti. I never thought about purple being royalty. Hey I LEARNED SOMETHING. LOL.

    Maybe someone can figure how much fabric is needed to make this..

    Here is my measurements

    I used 132- 5"x5" blocks for one color
    I used 128- 5"x5" blocks for color #2
    I used 28- 5"x5" blocks for the Cross
    For the border, I cut 8 strips 6 inches wide out of the same fabric as the Cross was done in and sewed 2 together for each side of the quilt.
