    On the picture the rounded petals that that show on the front is petals on the circle you just turn over the petals and applique them down.

    So, is it basically a Hexagon quilt and the petals are added later? I tried to google that Star Window pattern, but no luck.
    And the seams in the middle of the petals, are they done by machine and the edges of the petals by hand?

    I am in the process of making the same quilt. Mine is all blues. We were coming home from Kentucky and we stopped at a mansion for a guided tour. One of the ladies was sitting at the kitchen table and she was making this quilt. I asked her what the pattern was and she said it was Mo Mo's Star. She said she could make me a copy if I liked. Of course I liked. I have been working on it for a few years. Mine is about a twin size now. It is a ufo I want to finish this year.
