What a wonderful room, but I am afraid with that view in front of me I would be so busy looking at mother nature I would not sew!!

    oooh me likey!!!

I had hoped to get rid of the carpet and change the walls in my sewing space when I reno'ed my house recently, but time didn't permit before the movers came to put everything in. Hopefully it will be my project in the new year. Then I will have a better colour concept.

Speaking of sewing rooms/office (as I too have to share the space for both) I'm off to do a little more clean up and organizing so I can start sewing in there!

    Cheers
    Andrea

Wow looks nice...what I wouldn't give for a large window with some natural light coming in. :)

Question - What do you use to hold all your spools of thread on that wall? Looks really nice...I've been thinking about doing something like that....though I'm not sure if the cat would leave them alone. :P

My step-father made that! It's actually a HUGE picture frame with with dowels. Here's a close-up of the "rack" area for the dowels. The back is 1/4" plywood and, I believe, he screwed the rack in from the back. He actually made it to be hung the other way, but I didn't have the wall space so DH cut it thru the middle and switched it around. Hope the picture helps you.

OMG!! What a perfectly lovely sewing space! It looks as if you are sewing next to a giant post card! Congrats on such good use of your great sewing space!

The truth now...is it still clean? It looks like a nice nest to play in complete with a view.
